The parents of a 16-year-old Jersey City teen are seeking the public’s help to find her after she went missing yesterday afternoon.

Jan Vigilant, the mother of Ja’nisa Hill, posted on Facebook this morning urging anyone with any information of her daughter’s whereabouts to call her at 551-263-9846.

Hill is described as standing approximately five-feet five inches tall and weighing about 110 pounds and her mother says she was wearing blue shorts, white shirt, and rainbow Vans sneakers when she went missing.

In a separate post, her father, Rodney Hill, said she was last seen in the Bayonne/Jersey City area yesterday.
