“I am honored to join the bench here in North Bergen. It is an exciting time for me and my family as I ascend to a position that holds a lot of trust and faith from residents and the local government. Thank you to Mayor Sacco for placing his trust in me to do what’s right for our community,” Bosi said in a statement.

Bosi was appointed to complete the remainder of Judge Jason Ryglicki’s appointment, who resigned for personal reasons. That term expires in June, when Bosi will be re-appointed for another three-year term, officials said.

“I know that Judge Bosi’s extensive experience with the law and with our community means she has the tools to fill in for Judge Ryglicki and beyond, and will ensure that our municipal court continues to be fair, just and well managed,” added Mayor Nick Sacco.

The ceremony was introduced by court administrator Heather Luzzi-Miller and Hudson County Superior Court Judge Joseph Turula administered the oath of office to Bosi.

Expressing her deep connection to North Bergen, Bosi emphasized her commitment to upholding the court’s values of respect and dignity for all.

In addition to those mentioned, Commissioners Hugo Cabrera, Claudia Rodriguez, Allan Pascual, and Anthony Vainieri, along with Township Administrator Janet Castro, Police Chief Robert Farley, Assemblyman Julio Marenco (D-33), and Hudson County Commissioner Bob Baselice (D-8) were in attendance for the ceremony as well.
