The Township of North Bergen, the Town of Guttenberg, and the Hackensack Meridian Palisades Medical Center are teaming up to host a Breast Cancer Awareness Walk next week.

The event will take place on Saturday, October 8th between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. The suggested meet up time is 9:45 a.m. with a rain date of Sunday, October 9th.
The walk will begin at Guttenberg Town Hall, 6808 Park Avenue, and will end at Waterfront Park, 7200 River Road, where an outdoor health event will offer giveaways, games with prizes, a live DJ, and information on health care services.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month was established to increase awareness of the disease and to raise funds for research into its cause, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and cure.
