The North Bergen Licensing Center, commonly still referred to as the DMV, will close for two weeks after an employee tested positive for COVID-19.

“𝐁𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆: 𝐍𝐎𝐑𝐓𝐇 𝐁𝐄𝐑𝐆𝐄𝐍 𝐋𝐈𝐂𝐄𝐍𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐂𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑 is closed due to an employee testing positive for COVID-19, and will reopen Tuesday, October 20,” the New Jersey MVC tweeted at 2:18 p.m.
The news comes on the same day that the Jersey City DMV reopened after an employee tested positive for the coronavirus last month.
While there are no other MVC facilities open in North Hudson, there are other Hudson County options available in Jersey City and Bayonne.
