“Another great business that is reopening here and he may possibly expand next door, so this is great. Congratulations … and let’s have another great business,” said Mayor Nick Sacco, also a state Senator (D-32), during the Saturday afternoon ribbon cutting.

Restaurant co-owners Hector Zulueta and Armando Galis-Menendez were both thankful for the opportunity and felt the 7512 Broadway was the perfect spot for their establishment.

“We both grew up in North Bergen and we’re proud of our heritage and we had the opportunity to open up this place. And [we plan to] keep it very family oriented for the neighborhood and we just got on the same page and decided to go forward with it,” Zulueta said.

“Absolutely. This is a great neighborhood, great environment around here: this will be the perfect place for it. The residents have been supportive,” Galis-Menendez added, also calling the endeavor “a welcoming experience.”

When asked what patrons had to look forward to at the establishment, Galis-Menendez said “Good food, good drinks and a good ambience.”

The restaurant is open from 3 p.m. until midnight Monday through Friday, extending their hours from noon until 2 a.m. for Saturday and Sunday.
