Alexander Roccamo, 28, of Clifton, was charged with eluding and resisting arrest, Miller said in a statement.

On Friday at approximately 2:17 a.m., a motorcycle was observed to drive recklessly and pass a DWI checkpoint setup in the area of Route 3 West without stopping.

After a brief vehicle pursuit, a motor vehicle stop of the motorcycle was conducted in the area of Route 3 West and the exit ramp to Route 21 where the police arrested Roccamo.

He was issued his complaint summons along with four motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody, police said.
