Margaret Stack, the mother of Union City Mayor/state Senator (D-33) Brian Stack, passed away today, various friends of the family told Hudson County View this afternoon.Â

Margaret Stack was being treated at the Palisades Medical Center in North Bergen and has been in poor health for years, friends said, though her cause of death was not immediately available.
