Man charged with DWI, illegal gun possession, after car crash in Secaucus Walmart parking lot


A Florida man was charged with driving while intoxicated and illegal gun possession after he crashed into another car in the Secaucus Walmart parking lot, police said.

On September 11th at 9:45 p.m., Secaucus police responded to the parking lot of Walmart,
located at 400 Park Plaza Dr.m on a report of a motor vehicle accident, according to Police Chief Dennis Miller.

During the investigation, authorities arrested James Milien, 30, of Lehigh Acres, Florida,
for unlawful possession of a handgun, possession of a prohibited weapon (hollow point bullets, transportation of a firearm without being registered or licensed, endangering another person and driving while intoxicated.

Milien was issued his complaint warrant, along with his motor vehicle summons for DWI and two other motor vehicle summonses, and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail, officials said.
