Wueilver Vasquez-Martinez, 25, Danyer Jimenez Naspe, 22, and Zallireth Rigio, 33, all of New York, New York, were each charged with shoplifting, conspiracy to commit shoplifting, and using an anti-shoplifting device, Miller said in a statement.

Additionally, Vasquez-Martinez was charged with receiving stolen property.

The stolen license plate hit off the license plate reader multiple times on Paterson Plank Road. The stolen license plate belonged to a Land Rover, but was currently on a blue Honda Pilot.

While canvassing the area, the police observed the vehicle parked in the parking lot of the Home Depot. As the vehicle left the parking lot the police conducted a motor vehicle stop of the vehicle.

Individuals involved were also found to have been shoplifting in Home Depot and were in possession of a bag which prevented the theft detector from activating, who were also charged.

Vasquez-Martinez was issued his complaint summons, along with three motor vehicle summonses and he was released from police custody.

Rigio was issued her complaint summons and she was released from police custody, while Jimenez-Naspe was issued his complaint warrant and subsequently transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.
