LETTER: Mayor Roque thanks voters for electing me to ‘the greatest job I’ve ever had’

In letter to the editor, newly re-elected West New York Mayor Felix Roque thanks his constituents for again voting him into “the greatest job I’ve ever had” on Tuesday.

Mayor Felix Roque

Thank you on behalf of Team Roque.

Being Mayor of the Town of West New York is the greatest job I’ve ever had! On Tuesday May 12th I was humbled by the strong show of support at the polls that allows me to continue as mayor for the next four years.

I want to express my heartfelt thanks to the voters of West New York for believing in our message of progress and the proven track record of stable taxes, crime rate reduction initiatives, improving the schools, expand recreation programs, having a steady stream of capital improvements and securing new revenues that enhance the quality of life of all West New Yorkers.

These achievements are a delivery of promises made and promises kept.

Team Roque could not have won without the support of our family, friends, and loyal supporters who so generously contributed their time and effort to our campaign during this very long election season. Their steadfast support was critical to the success of our campaign.

In working with Commissioner Cosmo Cirillo, Commissioner Gabriel Rodriguez, Susan M. Colacurcio and Margarita Guzman we will continue to make the Town of West New York a great place to live, work, and raise a family.

I am honored and grateful for the opportunity to continue to serve the great people of West New York!

Mayor Dr. Felix E. Roque
