Applications can be picked up in person on site, 460 Ocean Ave., between 9 a.m. and 12 noon on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, the JCHA announced last week.

Completed applications must be submitted in the mail and anyone who is unable to pick up an application in person can call 201-435-4646 or email to have one sent out.

1- and 2-bedroom affordable units are available, with top priority given to former Senior Lafayette Garden residents who are in good standing and have to relocate due to HOPE IV activities.

Additionally, seniors who live in the surrounding 07305 area code, as well as those who live or work in Jersey City, will get consideration before other applicants, according to the JCHA.

  1. So nice. It’s a tragic and racist shame that for 8 years in Hoboken the last Mayor didn’t do anything to improve the housing authority there- except have her husband lunch with their director and then send out emails to commissioners on hypothetical ways to fire the Hispanic director. Costing the residents over $600,000
