UPDATED: Jersey City family seeking the public’s help in locating 14-year-old son

Omar Stewart, 14, was last seen near the intersection of Winfield and Garfield Avenues in Jersey City around 9 a.m., according to a missing person’s flyer.

Stewart stands five-feet four inches tall, weighs 115 pounds, has black hair and dark brown eyes, the flyer says.

The flyer also indicates he was wearing an outfit that consisted of a black bubble jacket, a black hooded sweatshirt, beige or brownish cargo pants and black and purple Nike sneakers.

Anyone with any information on Stewart’s disappearance is asked to call the Jersey City Police Department at 201-547-5456 or 201-547-5477.
