According to a Jersey City resident, the emergency phone at the Danforth Avenue Light Rail Station hasn’t been working for over a year.
At a recent South Greenville Neighborhood Association meeting, Jersey City resident Asheenia Johnson expressed her frustrations with an inoperable emergency phone at the Danforth Avenue Light Rail Station.
She spoke to Hudson County View about her year long struggle with the city to get the phone working.
Jersey City Spokeswoman Jennifer Morrill did not return an email seeking comment on why the phone wasn’t working.
Finally, Johnson explained why getting the phone working was so important to her.
