“We are announcing this now because we want all Republican committee members to participate. I am incredibly pleased at the direction our party has gone in. Our registration has increased from 25,000 ten years ago to 43,000 today. Our registration is growing twice as fast as the Democrats,” GOP Chairman Jose Arango said in a statement.

“This year we will have committee members in two towns that we have not had committee members in in a generation. And we have a great candidate for Governor, Jack Ciattarelli, who will win partly because we are ready to work to get every vote in our county out for him. Our ticket looks more like Hudson County than the Democratic incumbents and we will hold our opponents accountable in November for their support of the failed liberal Murphy agenda.”

Arango also said that he will be seeking re-election and that votes for other party officers will take place at 6 p.m. The Boulevard is located at 3167 John F. Kennedy Blvd.

State GOP Committeeman Joshua Sotomayor-Einstein has declared a challenge to Arango this time around, though he will first look to secure a Hoboken Republican committee seat.

In that race, he faces off with Joe Branco, a local business owner and former secretary for the Hoboken Democratic committee.

  1. I don’t think there are two bigger losers in Hoboken than Joe Branco and Josh Sotomayor-Einstein.

Republicans are really recruiting the best!
