Hudson County Exec. DeGise quarantining after chief of staff tests positive for COVID-19

Hudson County Executive Tom DeGise is quarantining after his chief of staff, Craig Guy, tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday.

Guy, also the president of the Hudson County Schools of Technology Board and the treasurer of the county Democratic committee, was informed yesterday that he had tested positive.

He had begun to show minor symptoms on December 11th and followed up with PCR testing.

DeGise was administered a rapid COVID-19 test yesterday which was negative and he is currently awaiting additional test results.

Guy is currently isolated and is continuing to work remotely and the rest of the county executive’s staff is also undergoing testing, quarantining and working remotely until further notice.
