The HCCC Board of Trustees approved Pujols appointment, which will be effective as of July 1st, at their May 11th meeting.
“This was an affirming process that again demonstrates the strong talent and commitment of our HCCC team,” HCCC President Dr. Christopher Reber said in a statement.
Reber recommended Pujols for the position in consultation with the Board of Trustees Executive Committee.
Additionally, Pujols currently serves as co-chair of the HCCC President’s Advisory Council for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (PACDEI), and is also a member of the North Hudson Scholarship Committee, the Enrollment Management Council, the President’s Executive Council, and All College Council.
Furthermore, he serves as the college’s Deputy Compliance Officer and Deputy Title IX Coordinator and was co-chair of HCCC’s Middle States Commission on Higher Education committee that focused on governance, leadership and administration.
