Last night at around 8 p.m., Hoboken police were dispatched to the area of 3rd and Harrison Streets upon a report of shots fired. Although residents told authorities they heard shots fired, but no shooters or victims were located in the immediate vicinity.

With the limited information they received from witnesses, officers established a crime scene, but were unable to locate any shell casings or slugs, either, police said.

Authorities had an increased presence at the HHA complex throughout the evening as surveillance footage of the incident was sought. The actor is described as a light-skinned man wearing a hooded sweatshirt.

He allegedly exited a dark-colored vehicle, possibly a Buick, fire his weapon, and then entered a second vehicle: initially thought to be a dark-colored BMW. Once in the second vehicle, the suspect fled the scene south on Harrison Street, officials said.

Witnesses said they heard three or four shots fired and no one was injured as a result of the incident.

The Hoboken Police Department urges anyone with any information to contact their anonymous tip line at 201-420-2111.
