The victim was treated on the scene by Hoboken EMS and then transported to an area hospital for further evaluation and treatment. The Jersey City Medical Center Mobile Crisis and Hudson County Regional SWAT teams responded to assist.

At approximately 3:05 p.m., Cooper exited the apartment and was transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters.

He was charged with aggravated assault, unlawful possession of weapons, and possession of weapons for unlawful purposes.

At this time, it was discovered he had an outstanding warrant out of Hoboken for assault. He was then processed and transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.
