The Hoboken Democratic Committee has announced “Election Center 2024” events to bolster Vice President Kamala Harris and U.S. Rep. Andy Kim (D-3), the Democratic nominees for president and Senate, respectively, in the November 5th general election.

There are currently four events on their calendar, according to HDC Chair Joe Quintero, also a city councilman-at-large.
A “Postcards for Kamala” event on Sunday, September 8th between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. will have volunteers gather at Goatan Hoboken, located at 770 Jackson St., to write 1,000 postcards encouraging voters in swing state to elect Harris.
This will be followed by a debate watch party on Tuesday, September 10th, which will be hosted at the Waiting Room, located at 72 Hudson St. and tickets cost $25 each.
The debate will be hosted by ABC News and will be the first head-to-head encounter between former President Donald Trump and Harris after President Joe Biden (D) bombed in a June 26th showdown with his former rival that eventually played a big role in him withdrawing from the race.
There will be no audience or written notes allowed, nor will their be hot mics when candidates aren’t permitted to speak, the AP reported.
Furthermore, the HDC will host a door knocking event for Kim on Saturday, September 14th between 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. with volunteers encouraged to download the app MiniVan prior to arrival.
The biggest endeavor they are promoting is a road trip to Philadelphia on Saturday, October 5th to knock on doors for Harris. Cars plan to leave Hoboken by 9 a.m. in order to arrive well in advance of a 1 p.m. shift where an RSVP is required by September 24th.
