The event will take place at the Secaucus Recreation Center, located at 1200 Koelle Blvd., on Saturday between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
“My administration is focused on collaborating with local municipalities to bring valuable resources directly to communities and this weekend, Mayor Gonnelli and I have teamed up to do just that in Secaucus. We are proud to prioritize the accessibility of county and city services and provide every resident with the opportunity to receive the information and assistance they need in a one-stop-shop format,” Guy said in a statement.
“We welcome all residents and their families to attend the Community Resource Fair this Saturday where they can access over a dozen resource tables including housing assistance,
senior services, employment help, and more!”
The resource fairs bring together city services and county departments in one place to directly help the people and families that need them. In 2024, events have been held in Bayonne, Kearny, Union City, Jersey City, and Hoboken.
“As County Executive Guy and I host this Community Resource Fair in Secaucus, it is our goal to connect residents with helpful and knowledgeable staff that are available to guide them and deliver insight to help them succeed in Hudson County,” Gonnelli added.
“Whether residents are interested in business or development opportunities, are looking for job opportunities, or access to healthcare and mental health services, we are here to help and we hope to see you there at the Secaucus Recreation Center on Saturday!”
Hudson Regional Health, the office of late U.S. Rep. Bill Pascrell (D-9) will be in attendance, along with childcare, youth, planning, transportation services, as well rental and housing assistance, among other many other services.
