The breakfast event will be held on Wednesday, September 4th at Hudson County Community College in Jersey City, located at 70 Sip Ave., from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Anyone interest can register at hudsonchamber.org/events or call 201-386-0699.

This is part of the chamber’s Meet the Candidates Series, organized via their Employer Legislative Committee (ELC), where all major candidates running for governor will be inviting to discuss their platform.

At each Hudson County ELC meeting, legislators, cabinet members, or local officials discuss important issues pertinent to business.

Fulop is the second candidate to speak before the group, with Newark Mayor Ras Baraka appearing on June 5th.

Other declared Democratic candidates include New Jersey Education Association President Sean Spiller and former state Senate President Steve Sweeney.

U.S. Reps. Josh Gottheimer (D-5) and Mikie Sherrill (D-11) expected to join the fray after getting re-election in November.

On the Republican side, 2021 GOP nominee Jack Ciattarelli, a former state assemblyman and county commissioner, state Senator Jon Bramnick (D-21), and NJ 101.5 radio host Bill Spadea have all announced their running in the June 3rd, 2025 primary.
