Councilman Daniel Rivera hosted a meeting between the Villa Borinquen Tenants Associations, PACO, and Puerto Rican Lutheran Housing Corporation to resolve the ongoing tenant-landlord dispute in the housing complex.
No resolution was reached at the meeting and tensions between the groups were still apparent, with tenants association chair Evette Gaetan leaving the meeting before its conclusion in a heated exchange.
