Yesterday at approximately 9:08 p.m., a 42-year-old woman reported that while standing on the sidewalk with a friend in the area of 34th Street and Avenue E, another woman walked by and exchanged words with them over blocking the sidewalk, according to Police Capt. Eric Amato.

The argument turned physical when the aggressor struck the victim in the head with a glass bottle, causing multiple lacerations to the victim’s face and head.

The actor then immediately fled the scene. The victim was transported to the Jersey City Medical Center to be treated for her injuries, police said.

The incident remains under investigation and no arrests have been made in the case yet.
