A Bayonne man has been charged in two separate incidents for throwing a knife at a man and yelling “***ing Muslim” after spitting on a woman, as well as spitting on a police officer, authorities said.

Moustafa Nossier, 24, of Bayonne, is charged with aggravated assault with a weapon,
possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, unlawful possession of a weapon, and
aggravated assault with bodily fluids, according to Police Det. Sgt. William Dundas.
He was arrested on July 30th at approximately 7:35 a.m. in the area of 12th Street and Broadway.
Police responded to a call for a male attempting to stab another male. Upon arrival, officers met with several victims and witnesses who stated that Nossier threw a rock at one of the victims and threatened him with a knife in the area of 10th and Broadway.
Nossier then left that area and threw a 12 inch kitchen knife at another victim in the area of 12th and Broadway. After being placed under arrest, he spit on the arresting officer.
In a later reported incident, Nossier was found to be the man involved in a bias intimidation incident minutes prior to the above described incident.
The victim stated that she was approached by an unknown male, later identified by police as Nossier, in the area of 14th and Broadway, where he spit on her and stated “****ing Muslim.”
As a result, he Nossier was charged with bias intimidation-harassment on a subsequent complaint, police said.
