This evening’s announcement brings more welcome news to the Peninsula City in the midst of the current public health emergency, about a month after their number of coronavirus patients dipped below 100.
This milestone came just days before the Bayonne Medical Center said they were no longer treating anyone with coronavirus symptoms.
They also have not reported a new coronavirus death in over a month.
On a related note, the city released a video this afternoon where Fire Chief Keith Weaver provided information about COVID-19 and Tropical Storm Isaias.
