A Jersey City Public School teacher detailed the allegation made against a Source4Teachers substitute accused of assaulting a child.

Lisa Fantacone, a Jersey City Public School teacher, detailed the allegation made against the substitute to the Jersey City Board of Education. In addition, Fantacone called on the board to end its contract with Source4Teachers, the firm the board outsourced the hiring of substitute teachers to.
Superintendent Dr. Marcia Lyles responded to the allegation and explained what the district is doing to deal with similar situations.
Finally, board member Ellen Simon questioned the sincerity of the union regarding the issue by highlighting the response to the arrest of an art teacher for sexual assault.
