State Senator Angela McKnight’s (D-31) office will provide ANCHOR application assistance from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. tomorrow at her district headquarters, 2324 John F. Kennedy Blvd.

McKnight will be joined by members of the New Jersey taxation team tomorrow to assist homeowners and renters in Jersey City, Bayonne and Kearny with their ANCHOR and property tax relief applications.
Anyone wishing to pre-register can call her office at 201-360-2502 to reserve a spot, though registration is not required to attend.
“This program offers property tax relief to New Jersey residents who own or rent property in New Jersey as their main home and meet certain income limits. This year’s ANCHOR benefit is based on residency, income, and age from 2024,” according to the New Jersey Division of Taxation.
“We will file on behalf of most eligible residents under 65 and not collecting Social Security disability benefits. We sent those residents their Anchor Benefit Confirmation Letter on August 13, 2025, with details of the upcoming filing. If you received a letter and need to change your banking information, prefer to request a paper check, or need to opt out of the filing altogether, then you will have to file your own application by September 15, 2025.”
