“Mayor Zimmer has been a strong and effective advocate for Hoboken and a great partner, working with me to support our region and our State,” Stack said in a statement.

“Mayor Zimmer has held the line on property taxes while achieving an AA+ bond rating, implemented real solutions to flooding, created many acres of new open space and so much more. She has led by example, setting a strong example for other local leaders. I’m proud to offer my support.”

Zimmer of course graciously accepted the endorsement, also praising the job Stack has done in District 33.

“I thank Senator Stack for his important endorsement. We are honored to have him represent our City in the State Senate and I look forward to continuing our work together, as we make Hoboken an even better place to live,” Zimmer said.

Stack, who also seeks re-election in the Senate, already bolstered Jersey City Mayor Steven Fulop’s re-election back in January.

The 33rd Legislative District includes Union City, Hoboken, Weehawken and the Jersey City Heights.

  1. Too bad Brian Stack’s Commissioners ( his chief of staff is a commissioner ) on the NHSA just voted down the budget which helps Hoboken’s flooding problems, causing Commissioner Gardner to be the only person to speak out at the meeting

Oh those real facts and not Zimmer Facts
