A West New York man was fortunate to sustain minor injuries after being stabbed multiple times by a woman inside a local Retro Fitness after an argument quickly escalated, sources told Hudson County View.

According to sources, who spoke under the condition of anonymity since they were not authorized to speak on the matter, a 20-year-old West New York man was stabbed in the stomach and arms by a 24-year-old Guttenberg woman last Monday, April 11th, around 9:45 p.m.
The incident occurred at the Retro Fitness, located at 6402 John F. Kennedy Blvd., shortly after a verbal argument between the two parties, who appeared to know each other, sources said.
The victim was transported to the Jersey City Medical Center to be treated for “minor injuries” and the woman was arrested in connection to the incident several days later, according to sources.
The West New York Police Department could not be immediately reached for further information.
