The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office is investigating an apparent suicide that occurred in West New York early this morning, sources exclusively told Hudson County View.

According to sources, who spoke under the condition of anonymity, a man was found dead in the area of the 300 block of 67th Street this morning around 7 a.m.
The sources, who were not authorized to speak on the matter, said that the incident did not involve a weapon but declined to get into any of the specifics of the situation due to an ongoing investigation.
The West New York Police Department deferred comment to the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office, who has taken over the investigation, and Assistant Hudson County Prosecutor Leo Hernandez did not return an email seeking comment this morning.
