Yesterday at approximately 9:45 p.m., Guttenberg police responded to Rumba Cubana, located at 6909 Boulevard East, on a report of a fight, Suarez said in a statement.

Upon arrival, officers found the victim, Antonio Bouza, 28, of Guttenberg, lying on the ground outside of the restaurant with a stab wound to his chest, authorities said.

Emergency Medical Services transported Bouza to Palisades Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at approximately 10:35 p.m., officials said.

The cause and manner of his death are pending an investigation by the Regional Medical Examiner’s Office.

Shortly after the incident, Reidel Carrasco, 22, of West New York, surrendered himself at the Guttenberg Police Department for his alleged involvement in the death of Bouza, police said.

After an initial investigation, members of the Prosecutor’s Homicide Unit arrested Carrasco.

He has been charged with murder, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and unlawful possession of a weapon, officials said.

Known to his friends as “Tonito” and “Tony El Electrico,” a GoFundMe page was set up to cover the victim’s funeral costs has already raised $3,270 from 55 people in five hours as of 4 p.m.

Their ultimate goal is $4,200.

“Tonito, as we all knew him, Tony el Electrico, unfortunately is no longer with us. We want to help your family in these difficult times in funeral process,” the page description says in Spanish.

“Any donation however small is appreciated and will be a great help at such difficult times. Thank you all. Later we will give the details of when the funeral will be for those who want to attend.”
