A 21-year-old woman is in critical condition after falling off a balcony at the Marine View Plaza in Hoboken yesterday afternoon, police said.

Yesterday around 2:20 p.m., the Hoboken Police Department received a call that a female appeared to have fallen from a balcony of Marine View Plaza, according to Police Det. Sgt. Edgardo Cruz.
Officers arrived to find an unconscious female on the ground and immediately requested medical personnel to assist in treating the victim’s injuries, which were substantial, authorities said.
The 21-year-old was transported to a local trauma center and is currently listed in critical condition, officials said.
The preliminary investigation has ruled out foul play and any mechanical/structural issues as contributing factors. Police also did not characterize the incident as a suicide attempt.
Is there any more information about the state of the woman who fell? I called the ambulance when it happened and would appreciate some closure.
