Jaclyn Kennedy, 26, of Newark, was charged with theft of service and traffic summonses that included improper safety glass, driving an uninsured vehicle and driving an unregistered vehicle, according to Port Authority police spokesman Joe Pentangelo.

At about 4:05 p.m. yesterday, Port Authority police at the Holland Tunnel saw the suspect driving a 2010 Honda with dark tinted windows, officials said.

A traffic stop was conducted as the vehicle exited the Holland Tunnel and a records check showed her vehicle registration was suspended and the Honda was uninsured, authorities said.

The check also confirmed that the driver owed over $9,250 in tolls and fees to EZPass for 143 separate violations, which began in April of 2012 and Kennedy had five different EZPass accounts, police said.

The suspect was arrested, taken into custody and her vehicle was impounded. She was later released and given a court date of February 14, officials said.
