Lamar Proctor, 37, of Roselle, was charged with distributing heroin, possession of a controlled dangerous substance (heroin), possession of CDS (PCP) and possession of marijuana less than 50 grams, according to Port Authority police spokesman Joe Pentangelo.

At about 4 p.m. on Friday at the Journal Square PATH concourse in Jersey City, Port Authority police were conducting bag checks at the station when they encountered Proctor, who admitted he had marijuana and PCP in his bad, authorities said.

The suspect volunteered he had a quantity of marijuana and PCP in his bag. Police recovered alleged marijuana and PCP-soaked cigarettes and the suspect was placed under arrest, officials said.

During the arrest processing, an excess of 5 ounces of alleged heroin was also recovered from the bag, police said.
