On Thursday at approximately 12:37 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus police officers saw a large quantity of marijuana, marijuana edibles, and hundreds of THV vape cartridge aggregately weighing just under five pounds, Miller said in a statement.

Further, just under $1,000 in cash was also seized. Based on the quantity, packaging, and drug paraphernalia seized, it was indicative the marijuana was possessed for illicit distribution.

Christopher Sanchez, 21, of West New York, was charged with possession with intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance (marijuana), money laundering, and possession with intent to distribute drug paraphernalia.

He was issued his complaint summons, along with three motor vehicle summonses, before being released from police custody, authorities said.
