Meko T. Williams, 22, of Rahway, was charged with possessing fraudulent government documents, obstructing a governmental function, resisting arrest, making terroristic threats and possession of under 50 grams of marijuana, according to Police Lt. Janine Foy.

Williams was arrested for possessing a fake driver’s license near 1044 Broadway on Friday around 5:01 p.m., threatening to fight the arresting officers “as he was physically struggling to break free from their control,” Foy further explained to Hudson County View.

Police also discovered that Williams was in possession of a relatively small amount of marijuana, under 50 grams, during the time of the arrest. Despite the multitude of charges, Williams was released on a summons, authorities said.
