Yvette Wilson, 55, of Jersey City, was charged with possession of controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute and possession of CDS, according to Port Authority police spokesman Joe Pentangelo.

At about 8 a.m. yesterday, Port Authority police were on duty at PATH near the Journal Square fountain in Jersey City when they received information that the suspect was in possession of drugs, authorities said.

Port Authority police interviewed the suspect and she informed them that she had one bag of heroin hidden in her inhaler and she was arrested, officials said. An additional 24 bags of suspected heroin were found in the suspect’s possession.

Furthermore, a computer check showed two active warrants from Jersey City for the suspect. The suspect was arrested and taken to Hudson County jail, police said.

Wilson was arrested for being in possession of 10 glassine bags of heroin back in Journal Square back in January (h/t The Jersey Journal).

  1. If I wrote a news article every time I saw someone with drugs in their inhaler in Journal Square I’d be very busy writing every time I saw a mirror in Journal Square! You know the one! HAH! I sense an asthma attack coming on! “Too soon too soon”
