Raymond Gorczycki, 44, of Jersey City, was charged with failure to register as a sex offender at the light rail station on 45th Street in Bayonne back on January 8, according to Police Capt. Janine Foy.
Gorczycki was detained on Friday at 4:13 p.m. for a fare evasion violation and upon further investigation, police discovered that Gorczycki had two outstanding warrants: failure to register as a sex offender and a no bail parole violation warrant, officials said.
The failure to register as a sex offender warrant netted him $25,000 bail with a 10 percent option, police said.
