Tyree Washington, 23, and DeJohn Durdin, 22, both of Brooklyn, were both charged with unlawful use of credit cards, according to Police Det. Sgt. Edgardo Cruz.

Yesterday around 2:59 p.m., police were dispatched to the 7-11, located at 422 Washington St., after call of two males using fake credit cards to make purchases, authorities said.

Police Dets. David Dimartino and William Collins arrived to see both Washington and Durdin buying cigarettes while holding multiple credit cards, police said.

After the officers questioned the suspects about the cards they used, prompting them to hand over the cards they had used, as well as many other cards they had on them, authorities said.

Police confiscated over 50 credit and gift cards from the defendants and the investigation is ongoing. In the event that any of the other cards are found to be fraudulent, further charges will be issued, officials said.
