“A white van was stopped at the traffic light on 68th street when a black GMC Jimmy crashed directly into the van, failing to break before impact. At this time we believe that speed is also a factor,” Schillari said in a prepared statement, noting that the accident occurred around 10:45 p.m. last night.

The driver of the Jimmy was in critical condition and had to be cut from the vehicle and was rushed to Jersey City Medical Center to be treated for his injuries.
The two occupants of the van also suffered serious injures and were taken to Palisades Medical Center for treatment.
As of this writing, the investigation is ongoing and no charges have been filed yet.
