In a letter to the editor, Bayonne resident Dorothy Perez is encouraging voters to re-elect the “highly qualified, experienced” Board of Education Trustee Mikel Lawandy. 
Dear Editor,
On November 7th we the voters have the ability and privilege to elect three hopeful candidates vying for three seats as Trustees on our BBOE.
Incumbent Mike Lawandy is a highly qualified experienced and energetic young man. His
“Building the Future Together†campaign slogan says and states he is a team player with no personal agenda of interest.
Building on the contributions he brought to the table these past three and a half years as a Trustee is a challenge he continues to look forward to if the voters speak.
His aim and goal is our teachers, students, and tax payers. The value and knowledge he has acquired will continue to be a huge asset. Since when do we willingly allow our assets to slip away or be taken from us?
Voters, the ball is in our court. I have made myself available to campaign for and with this
upstanding current Trustee because he is not a “yes man.†His eyes are open, he is sharp and focused.
Keep your eyes on 7J and vote for Mike Lawandy! Good luck to all candidates. May the victorious make a difference to our illustrious School Board.
