An off-duty Jersey City firefighter died from a car crash in the Heights where multiple people were injured, sources told Hudson County View.Â

The two-car crash occurred near the intersection of Congress Street and Paterson Plank Road around 2 a.m. and the firefighter was a passenger, sources said.
Three other individuals are being treated for injuries at the Jersey City Medical Center and authorities have not yet released the identity of the deceased.
No other information was immediately available.
