“This year in Hudson County, the Republican Party is prepared to win. Hank Sheinkopf brings decades of experience and a record of helping candidates win tough races,” Hudson County GOP Chair Jose Arango said in a statement.

“His partnership with us shows that the Hudson County GOP is serious about competing in the final stretch, and shocking the state with some big wins here at home.”

Sheinkopf has worked on an estimated 700 political campaigns on 4 continents, in 14 foreign nations and 44 American states over the last 35 years, according to his website.

His political clients have included President Bill Clinton, then-New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, Leonel Fernandez, former President of the Dominican Republic, and Vicente Fox, a former President of Mexico.

In Kearny, Republican nominee Sydney Ferreira is looking to unseat Democratic Mayor Carol Jean Doyle on November 4th.

In their first meeting in November 2023, which included then-Mayor Peter Santana, he was the runner-up to Doyle by 300 votes.

As for LD-33, Republican Assembly nominees Anthony Valdes and Cindy De Pice look to pull off an upset against their Democratic counterparts, Larry Wainstein and Assemblyman Gabriel Rodriguez.

And of course Ciattarelli, a former state assemblyman, looks to defeat U.S. Rep. Mikie Sherrill (D-11) in the race to succeed Gov. Phil Murphy (D), who was term limited from running again.
