The evening will feature an author talk, audience Q&A, and a book sale. Copies of Bird City will be available for purchase beginning at 6:00 p.m., courtesy of Little City Books, the library announced.
The 90-minute session, which will be held in the main library’s large program room at 500 Park Ave., is free and open to the public.
Goldberg is a journalist and author whose work explores the intersections of environment, communities, and public space. In Bird City, he examines how urban landscapes can become vital habitats and why local stewardship matters.
Additionally, Train is a Hoboken environmental advocate, birder, and co-founder of Our Tern, which works to protect nesting Common Terns along the Hoboken waterfront through education, monitoring, and community partnerships.
