Hoboken power outage leaves about 770 PSE&G customers in the dark this morning

A Hoboken power outage that spanned between about 8th and Jefferson Streets left around 770 PSE&G customers in the dark for about two hours early this morning, a city spokesman confirmed. PSEG Hoboken

Hoboken spokesman Juan Melli said that between approximately 5 a.m. and 6:30 a.m., residents and businesses between 8th and Jefferson Streets were without power.

The above screenshot from the PSE&G outage center website, provided by Melli, indicates that 770 customers were affected as of 4:38 a.m.

Melli said power was restored by approximately 6:30 a.m.

PSE&G could not be immediately reached to inquire what caused the power outage.
