The five North Hudson public school districts announced on social media this evening that they would close again tomorrow, March 15, due to the snow and ice from Winter Storm Stella.

While initial forecasts has the nor’easter dropping up to two feet of snow in North Jersey, Hudson County municipalities typically saw closer to eight or nine inches of frozen precipitation.

Additionally, theBayonne and Jersey City Public Schools will still open tomorrow, but with a 10 a.m. start time for students.

School districts through the state are playing it safe with either closures or delayed openings due to ongoing snow plowing and frozen roadways.

  1. A Second day off from School? WHY?

Teachers got a gift once again at West NY Tax Payers and Children’s expense in West NY.

Sorry Bergen County got a little bit more than West NY did in a 6 inch Blizzard for a Two day extra Vacation.
