Ernesto A. Atiencia, 35, of North Bergen, was pronounced dead at the lake at 11:01 a.m. yesterday morning, as The Times Tribune first reported.

According to the report, the Hudson County native went missing around 2 p.m. on Monday and several law enforcement agencies, including dive teams from Lackawanna County and New York, searched the lake to locate him.

The GoFundMe page, which was started by West New York’s Chally Twin just 12 hours ago, has raised $1,475 from 28 people as of 10:54 a.m. this morning and has an ultimate goal of $10,000.

“Ernie Atiencia’s family is asking for any type of collaboration people can give to help pay for the up coming expenses. Help spread the word!,” the page description says.
