Bayonne Councilman at-Large Loyad Booker, a mayoral candidate, and his five City Council running mates raised a total of $13,665 and has a combined $75,401.66 cash on hand, according to the 11-day pre-election campaign finance reports.

Booker raised $65, spent $15,677.35, and has $35,199.83 cash on hand in his individual account, according to his May 1st report filed with the New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission (NJ ELEC).
He spent $11,548.29 on West New York’s Royal Printing for printing and mailing services, which only other expense to reach five figures is purchasing $1,065.82 in expenses from Lowes for supplies for hanging campaign signs.
Booker’s running mates raised a combined $13,600, spent $10,534.28, and has $40,201.83 cash on hand, their May 1st ELEC report shows.
Leonid Dimentman, of American Home Builders, contributed $2,600, and former 2nd Ward Councilman/Team Booker council candidate Sal Gullace gave $2,000.
They paid Florida’s All Time Agency $2,909.20 for media advertisements, $1,920 for an ad in Bayonne’s TV Talk Magazine, compensating the U.S. Postal Service $1,634.19 for mailing postage, and Bayonne’s J & J Printing received $1,358.56 for printing services.
Team Booker is still being outraised by Sharon Ashe-Nadrowski and her slate, while the third candidate in the mayoral race, city Business Administrator/Board of Education President Mary Jane Desmond has not filed any ELEC reports.
She said at HCV’s mayoral debate at Bayonne High School on April 20th that she is not doing any fundraising for the non-partisan May 12th contest and that any funds her and her three runnings mates use will be from her own money.
