A 69-year-old Union City Alzheimer’s patient that went missing yesterday morning has been found safely in New York City, the local police department said.

Palmira Fortuna, 69, of Union City, was found in New York City this morning, with the Union City Police Department thanking everyone who helped get the word out regarding this missing person via Twitter.
As Hudson County View first reported, the department announced last night that the woman went missing in Union City earlier in the day from the area of Eighth Street.
